Colour-Finish is stain and lacquer in one, designed to create a water-resistant, child-safe, matte finish with bright colours.
It is highly pigmented water-based tinted lacquer that you can use without additional varnish.
It is suitable for all types of professional wood craft and interior projects as well as wooden toys and children’s furniture. As you don’t need to apply additional oil finishes, it is suitable for projects that require bright, matte colours.

—— How to use ——
Shake the bottle well. Apply with a brush or sponge. Also suitable for dipping, tumbling and spraying.
The swatch in the picture shows a piece of beech wood after one coat.

—— Drying time ——
Fast drying. Approx. 30 mins for touch dry

3-5 days for full cure.

—— Coverage ——
1m square for 100 ml on average with 1 coat.

—— Prep ——
Use on raw & well-sanded wood. 

—— Finish ——
It is water-resistant and can be used on toys without a top coat. However, if you want to achieve certain looks (glossy, oiled etc), you can use additional top coats of your choice.
Water-based top coats can be applied without dragging the colour.

Non-toxic. Only for intended use as wood stain
Low VOC. Use in a well-ventilated room.

EN71-3 (category III dried state), ASTM child safety, PAR/PAH compliant and suitable for toy making.
